Cutural Study and Adventure Tours
World Study Group organisiert mehrere Reisen pro Jahr an denen du teilnehmen kannst. Die Informationen bekommen du und deine Eltern rechtzeitig von uns zugeschickt und du kannst dich dann einfach entscheiden, bei welchen du mitfahren möchtest.
1. Kruger Nationalpark & Blyde River Canyon
DAY 1: Meeting at JHB Intl Airport, travel towards Blyde River Canyon! The tour will be escorted by a South African Tour Guide and/or a staff member of World Study Group Southern Africa. Overnight at a hostel near Blyde River Canyon.
DAY 2: After breakfast we will enjoy Blyde River Canyon, Burkes Luck Potholes and Gods Window. The historical town of Pelgrims Rust lies in a beautiful valley where the first Gold Rush took place. The route takes us down the escarpment through Hazyview and the entrance to the Natl Park. Overnight at a Rest Camp in located in the park.
DAY 3: Today we have the possibility to experience the last Eden of Africa as its founder James Stevenson Hamilton called the Kruger Park. With luck we might see some of the big and small five. Drive through Kruger to see the animals close up. We will depart very early and a yummy hot breakfast will be served way out in the bush ENJOY! Overnight at Rest Camp in the park.
DAY 4: After breakfast it is time to pack up, enjoy some more sights of great animals and than drive back towards Johannesburg Airport. Good bye! Our tour comes to an end!
2. Cape Town & Whale Watching
DAY 1: Flight to Cape Town International Airport. Group will be met and escorted by a Guide/a staff member of WSG SA. Bus transfer & dinner at hotel in Cape Town. Take a walk down to the sea! Evening: Movie night at local theatre.
DAY 2: Breakfast. Lets get started! Drive via Chapmans Peak towards Cape of Good Hope, have a look at the Penguins in Simonstown, etc. We continue our Cape Town Sightseeing Tour, including a stop at the famous Cape Town Waterfront. If weather permits we will take a tour to Robben Island and visit the prison where Nelson Mandela had to suffer for many years! Dinner at the hotel!
DAY 3: Early breakfast. Today we are driving to Hermanus, a charming little city directly located on the Indian Ocean. Pick-nick on the beach and of course WHALE WATCHING!
DAY 4: Breakfast. Our bus will make (depending on weather) one final photo stop/sightseeing detour before transferring us back to Cape Town Airport. Good bye! Our tour comes to an end!
3. Beach & Adventure Camp South Coast
Are you ready for a beach, ocean and adventure holiday based approx. 2 hours south of Durban?
Warm water and sub-tropical climate makes this tour the perfect choice especially for all beach and water sports loving students! There will also be time for tanning, shopping and relaxing! While having fun you will be able to learn a lot about the South Coast flora and fauna and especially about ocean animals, plantations and the people in this area. This will be a fabulous opportunity to enjoy the South African summer! The South Coast is a malaria free all you need is sun protection!
An Ocean Safari in a speed boat, watching whales and dolphins in their natural habitat, swimming, surfing, beach volleyball, a high and low rope course, a plantation tour, educational beach and lagoon walks as well as a visit to UShaka Marine World, a fantastic water park based in Durban, are only a few of the activities on offer.
Lets go to the beach!
SURF IT! SPLASH IT! SUN IT! BOAT IT! SWIM IT!
DAY 1: Meet in Durban! Transfer to the South Coast (approx. 2 hours drive)! Check in & Dinner. Enjoy the swimming pool! Get to know the other students around the camp fire!
DAY 2: After Breakfast we will get started! Water-sports & each Day! Margate has one of the best beaches in South Africa! Your choice to boogie board, snorkelling, swimming or just enjoy the beach! Later in the afternoon you can join a tour on a banana plantation.
DAY 3: Ready for a high ropes and team building experience? Or do you prefer the beach? In the afternoon we will hop on a speed boat for an ocean safari to watch whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. A once in a life time experience! End the day around the camp fire!
DAY 4: Guided lagoon tour. Learn about the eco system of the South coast! We can visit a crocodile farm where you will be able to take another close look at another indigenous animal! Bake your own pizzas at night and enjoy for example the beach volleyball facilities, the pool or take another walk!
DAY 5: Your last chance to enjoy the beach! We will have a big beach lunch! You could also go for another Shopping trip into town! Or enjoy a cool drink or coffee in one of the many restaurants! Good Bye Party! BBQ and camp fire
DAY 6: On our departure day we will have an early breakfast. We will drive back to Durban to visit Ushaka Marine World! You can go snorkelling, visit the aquarium, have fun in the water, go shopping and enjoy many other activities or even go shark diving (at an extra cost)! Late afternoon we continue our journey to Durban Airport. Good bye! Our tour comes to an end!
